Jessi is our Lead Teacher for the 3’s program on the Lighthouse Campus. She has been a part of the Stepping Stones family since 2006, when she was volunteering in her oldest daughter’s preschool class. (She’s 16 now!) Since 2013, she has been an integral part of our teaching staff. She has lead 3’s, 4’s, and Kindergarten Enrichment.
In Jessi’s own words: “Don’t be surprised if your child comes home a bit sweaty & stinky after a day at school with me! I love to sing and dance at Circle Time and play many variations of tag at Recess. School should be fun, messy and silly and that’s what you will get in my classroom. Along with the musts- working on small and large motor skill development, introduction to the alphabet, numbers 1-10, shapes, colors and so on. Most importantly, my prayer is they learn God loves them. I am blessed to have the opportunity to love on your little bundles of joy and look forward to meeting you and your family soon.”
Jessi has been married to her husband, Jeff, for over 18 years. They have two daughters, 16 and 12. They love to explore, enjoy their girls many activities, and most importantly have family dinner together each night. Ask her about their RV adventure!
Fun things to know about Miss Jessi:
She and her husband are training to ride their bikes all around Washington this year! That’s about 70 miles per day of cycling. Her husband has dreamed of this, and as a runner/marathoner, Jessi has taken up cycling! Good luck both of you in accomplishing your goal!
Jessi’s favorite things: Anything chocolate and peanut butter, and Cutter’s Point Vanilla Chai.
