Miss Therese is in her 3rd year of teaching at Stepping Stones, and has over 12 years experience teaching preschool. She has 27 contact training hours with the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum and has her STARS merit qualifications.

She states, “I am a strong advocate for children starting their elementary education experience with confidence and high self-esteem. I strive to give every child an equal opportunity to learn by adapting to each child’s learning style and creating a playful environment where learning is fun.”

You will see in her teaching style and interactions with the kids her belief in instilling a love for learning at an early age–establishing a foundation for school success. Going beyond academics and social skills she as an additional goal to prepare children to have an authentic relationship with God by introducing key concepts and truths of the bible and the unconditional love Jesus has for them.

Miss Therese has volunteered in her children’s classrooms and with extra-curricular activities. Volunteering in her church nursery care, children’s church and Sunday school are passions for her.  She also loves the beach, the sun, hot yoga, coffee, and chocolate!
